Hi, I’m Crystal. I’m a wife, mom of 3, and follower of Christ. I’ve worked in Sales & Marketing for over a decade, and started Holy Flamingo in early 2024 as a passion project to help small businesses gain a better online presence.
Why Flamingos?
The Flamingo is lovingly referred to as our family bird.
It started as a joke when my now husband and I were first dating. We found some clearance clothes and as he was trying them on in the fitting room he began laughing to himself quite loudly.
I could hear him outside of the fitting room, so of course I had to see what he was laughing about!
He had picked up a beach shirt and a pair of swim trunks, both sporting obnoxious flamingo prints. When he wore them together they were just too much!
So naturally, he bought them and wore them to the beach for years!
Flamingos have shown up in every area of our lives since. They were subtly included on our wedding invitations, have been received in many varieties as gifts from friends, and (mostly) tastefully adorn areas of our home and yard.
So when I was thinking about a business name that would be fun, I couldn’t stop laughing at the phrase “Holy Flamingos, Batman!”.
Thus, Holy Flamingo was born.
